Warrant Arrest – 10900 San Pablo Ave (El Cerrito PD):
At 3:32 pm, an officer arrested a 25-year-old El Cerrito man who turned himself in for several outstanding warrants. The male was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Possession of a Firearm: 11400 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 4:05 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the driver, a 23-year-old male from Richmond, for being in possession of a loaded firearm. The male and his passenger were taken into custody, booked, and released with citations.

Grand Theft – 3030 El Cerrito Plaza (T-Mobile):
At 7:30 pm, an officer reports several suspects entered the business and attempted to steal phones which were out on display. One suspect was able to remove a phone, but the others were not successful.

Battery – 510 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 8:37 pm, an officer responded to a report that the adult son of an elderly woman had assaulted her earlier in the day. The woman did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.

Criminal Threats – 11450 San Pablo Ave (Safeway):
At 8:45 pm, an officer reports the security guard at the business was confronted by a customer who threatened to physically harm him.

May 22

Elder abuse – 7700 block of Baron Ct:
At 10:35 am, an officer reports the arrest of a 55-year-old male from El Cerrito. The male, during an argument with his 80-year-old mother, became enraged after she did not get him his proper medication. During the argument, the male hit her once on the head with his shoe causing some reddening on her head. The male was taken into custody and booked at the ECPD.

Robbery – 10794 San Pablo Ave (Marshalls):
At 9:05 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect selected several pieces of merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying. When confronted by store staff, the suspect brandished a knife and fled the area with the stolen property.

Warrant Arrest – 9800 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 11:46 pm, an officer reports the arrest of a 30-year-old man who had a warrant for his arrest. The man was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Warrant Arrest – 10900 San Pablo Ave (El Cerrito PD):
At 3:54 am, an officer reports the arrest of a 29-year-old woman who had a warrant for her arrest. The woman surrendered herself at the police department and was later transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

False Information to Police Officer – San Pablo Ave / Wall Ave:
At 10:38 pm, an officer reports the arrest of a 24-year-old woman who provided her sister’s name during a traffic stop. The woman was arrested and later released from the El Cerrito Police Department with a citation.

Warrant Arrest – Cutting Blvd / San Pablo Ave:
At 12:18 am, an officer reports the arrest of an 18-year-old woman who had a warrant for her arrest. The woman was issued a citation and released in the field.

DUI and Possession of Controlled Substance – Potrero Ave / Eastshore Ave:
At 2:05 am, an officer reports the arrest of a 26-year-old man who was driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The man was arrested and found to be in possession of several baggies of cocaine. The man was transported to the El Cerrito Police Department and later released with a citation.

May 25

Burglary – 10600 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 6:45 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect cut the lock off the victim’s locker and removed a sweater containing the victim’s wallet and cell phone. The victim’s credit cards were then used at several businesses in a nearby city.

May 26

Warrant Arrest / Possess Controlled Substance -El Dorado Ave / San Mateo Ave :
At 7:10 pm, an officer arrested a 43-year-old El Cerrito man for an El Cerrito PD warrant during a pedestrian stop. The man was also found in possession of 1.1 gram of methamphetamine. The subject was booked at the ECPD then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Driving Under the Influence- San Pablo Ave / Sutter Ave :
At 9:25 pm, an officer arrested a 35-year-old Santa Rosa man for DUI during a traffic stop. The driver was booked at the ECPD and cited to a friend.
