At 419 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Sweetser, or 9 miles west of Marion, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Marion, Gas City, Fairmount, Jonesboro, Sweetser, Swayzee, Sims, Converse, Amboy, Home Corner, Michaelsville, Normal, Mier, Jalapa, Herbst, Hanfield, Hackleman, Radley and Roseburg.
