Due to a recent motor vehicle crash involving the destruction of a series of utility poles, Franklin St. will be closed overnight in order to address the remaining cable, phone, and fiber optic lines that remain temporarily tethered in place. For emergency traffic to the Morristown Medical Center, use the Madison Ave. entrance, or detour to Morris St., to Washington Ave., to Normandy Pkwy., to Madison Ave., to Franklin St. and the rear of the facility. This detour will be in place until approximately 5 am. Detour signs will be posted, and uniformed officers will be on site to assist motorists. Thanks for your cooperation.
