WSDOT Official Communication:
Bainbridge Island: Tree trimming to cause delays on SR 305
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND – Travelers should prepare for up to 20-minute delays on State Route 305 on Bainbridge Island starting Monday, June 3.
Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will trim trees to help improve sight distance and reduce the potential for collisions. Crews also will remove select trees that are dead or decaying.
This type of work requires occasional traffic stops or one-way alternating traffic.
Drivers are advised to add travel time to reach their destinations, especially if they are going to the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal.
The work will occur in several locations between Northeast High School Road and Northeast West Port Madison Road.
Crews must do this type of work during daytime hours due to safety concerns.
Work schedule
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 3-6.
