Single Vehicle Crash 
Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports his office investigated a motorcycle crash on 5/27/19 at approximately 1257 hours near Marcellus Hwy and Decatur Rd., Wayne Township, Cass County, MI. 49 year old, Berrien Springs resident, Ryan Joseph Pesce, was traveling westbound on Marcellus Hwy when he failed to negotiate a curve causing him to crash. Pesce was the only one injured in this crash and was transported to Borgess Lee Dowagiac Hospital to be evaluated for his injuries. Pesce was not wearing a helmet. Speed and alcohol appear to be a factor in this crash. This crash remains under investigation.
