INCIDENT TYPE: Homicide Arrest
 
INCIDENT LOCATION: 3500 W 16^th St  
 
INDIANAPOLIS -  Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide detectives have arrested Terrance Warren (22) for his alleged involvement in the shooting deaths of William Walker (23) and Charles Reeves (42) on 05/11/2019.
 
Just after 1:00 a.m. on 5.11.2019, officers with the IMPD were dispatched on reports of a person down in the 3500 block of W. 16^th Street. Responding officers arrived and located two male victims, later identified as William Walker and Charles Reeves, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. EMS personnel responded and pronounced the victims dead on-scene.
 
Homicide detectives responded and immediately began canvassing the area for witnesses. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency responded to assist in identifying and collecting potential forensic evidence. During the course of the investigation, probable cause was developed for the arrest of Terrance Warren for murder. Warren was located by the IMPD Violent Crimes Unit on 05/23/2019 and was taken into custody without incident. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and make a charging decision.
