Arrested: Pelayo Jr., Florentino 33 year old resident of Oakland
Charges: possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle, felon in possession of ammunition, burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia

Narrative: On May 25, 2019 at approximately 2:21 AM Emeryville Police Officers conducted a suspicious vehicle check in the parking lot of 5850 Shellmound Way. Officers contacted the occupants, one of which was on searchable probation, and conducted a probation search of the vehicle. The probation search yielded a loaded 9mm handgun, shaved keys and drug paraphernalia. Florentino Pelayo Jr., a 33 year old male out of Oakland, was subsequently placed under arrest and booked for possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of burglary tools and possession of drub paraphernalia.
