The APD Special Crimes Unit is requesting assistance locating Matthew Dillon Jones a 24 year old white male. Jones has a warrant for Bond Surrender with the original charge of Robbery out of Randall County #29228-A. He is described as being 5’8” tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Jones has a tattoo on his Left shoulder “Baze” and a tattoo on his right shoulder “PRP”. Anyone with information on the location of Jones is asked to call the Amarillo Police Department Special Crimes Unit or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400. The death of Kenee Griffing has been ruled a homicide. The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the APD Special Crimes Unit at 378-9468. ***Original Release***
On Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at 1:53PM, Amarillo Police officers were sent to 3611 NE 17th Avenue on a reported cardiac call. When officers arrived, they found a person deceased inside the residence. The cause of death is still being investigated by the APD Special Crimes unit.
The Special Crimes unit is needing to contact the residents of this home. We need to find out if they have information regarding the circumstances of the death of the Kenee Allynn Griffing WF 24 years of age.
