Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting death of a Male adult. The incident occurred on Friday May 24, 2019, at approximately 2:05 a.m., on the 14000 block of Mulberry Drive, Whittier.
Detectives have learned that Deputies from Deputies from Norwalk Sheriff’s Station responded to the 14000 block of Mulberry Drive in the unincorporated area of Whittier regarding a call of a gunshot victim.
Upon arriving, they discovered the victim down on the sidewalk in front of an apartment complex suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There is no suspect or vehicle description at this time. The murder weapon was not recovered.
The investigation is still ongoing.
