Wilmington Police have identified, located and charged two juveniles following a burglary and vehicle theft investigation.

On April 7 at approximately 7:29 a.m., police responded to a residence in the 1400 block of Oak Street regarding a burglary that had taken place. Officers learned that subjects had entered the residence and stolen the victim’s wallet and car keys, as well as the victim’s vehicle that was parked in front of the residence.

The case was assigned to Detective Brandon Mosley of the Criminal Investigations Division. He then obtained arrest warrants for both juveniles.

On May 8, one of the juveniles – a 16-year-old male – was taken into custody. He has been charged with conspiracy (third degree) and unlawful use of a credit card, was arraigned in New Castle County Family Court and was committed to the New Castle County Detention Center pending further proceedings.
