The Memorial Day Parade is sponsored annually by the Rockaway, Marcella and Denville Memorial Association. This year marks the 150th Anniversary of the 1st parade in our community, in what was then Rockaway. For this year only, to celebrate the 150th Anniversary, the Association requested that all 3 communities come together to recreate the original parade held in 1869. Line up for the Parade in Rockaway Borough is 10:30 am for an 11:00 am kickoff. In 2020, the Denville Parade will return.

Although this year's parade will take place in Rockaway Borough, the American Legion will have a ceremony at their hall in Denville at 9am, the Fireman will have a ceremony at Main Street Firehouse in Denville at 9:30 am, followed by a wreath laying by the Denville Rotary at the Obelisk (Broadway and Bloomfield Ave), Town Hall and finally the Denville Cemetery at 10:15 am.
