Traffic collision occurred a little before 6AM on Northbound Newport Blvd at Cecil. Newport Blvd shut down north of 22nd Street. Please avoid that area and find an alternate route on your morning commute.
This was a traffic collision involving a driver and a bicyclist, who sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. CMPD’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is responding to scene to conduct the investigation.
