Hardeeville police are still on the scene after two people received gunshot wounds tonight around 8-30. The shooting took place at intersection of highway 17 and church road near the railroad crossing. A third person was injured trying to run away from the scene. That person was also taken to a local hospital. The first person received gunshot wounds to the leg and back and was transported to a Savannah hospital The second was shot in the abdomen The person running away from the scene received a hip injury. The Jasper county sheriff’s office is helping with the investigation.
