Tonight, Deputy Chief Harkins and Lt. Benton continued to strengthen the department's partnership with local Houses of Worship, by attending a FEMA Emergency Operations Planning Workshop. The workshop was held at the Bethel Church in Gloucester Township. The workshop was attended by Pastors and security personnel from approximately 20 Houses of Worship. The training provided an excellent opportunity for Houses of Worship, GTPD and FEMA instructors to train ,hand and hand, for Emergency preparedness at Houses of Worship.
