Police Seek the Public's Help in Locating Woman Wanted for Questioning in Shooting
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Miriana Costa, 24, of Newark, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
At approximately 6:40 p.m., police responded to the 100-block of Chelsea Avenue on a call of shots fired. Responding officers did not locate any victims but observed property damage in the area related to gunfire.
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in locating Miriana Costa for questioning.
