* At 522 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 5 miles south of Chandler, or 12 miles southwest of Tyler, moving northeast at 45 mph. If you live in or near Tyler, take cover immediately! HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near... Whitehouse around 540 PM CDT. Tyler around 550 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include New Chapel Hill and Noonday.
