New Jersey American Water expects that water main upgrade work on Broad Street will conclude on Thursday, May 23rd.  Broad Street will be open Monday, May 20th and Tuesday, May 21st while other work is completed.  Broad Street will then be closed Wednesday, May 22nd and Thursday, May 23rd.  At a later date to be determined, directional boring under the Norfolk Southern Railroad Tracks will be conducted to complete a connection, but minimal traffic disturbance is expected.  Finally, Broad Street will be repaved curb-to-curb from Washburn Avenue to the northerly terminus of the main upgrade work.  This is expected sometime in mid to late July.
