Afternoon of Irish Music dance and Food

Members of the community are invited to an afternoon of Irish music and dance at Sinatra Park on Saturday, May 18 from noon until 6 pm. The family friendly activities include performances by Gold n’ Brown, Na’Bodach, Kevin McCormack and Sebastian McLaughlin, Garden Street Irish Step Dances and Emerald Fire, and the Kerri Smith Academy of Irish Dance. Finnegans Pub will be hosting a beer garden and serving food. The event is free of charge to the public.
Rabies Vaccination clinic

The City of Hoboken is hosting its annual free rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats at the Multi-Service Center (124 Grand Street) on Saturday, May 18 from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm. All dogs must be securely fastened with a collar and leash. Dog owners must have a 2019 Hoboken dog license which can be obtained on site.
American Legion Fundraiser

The City is a partner of the American Legion’s project to create a new American Legion to house the area’s homeless veterans, and to create a Veterans Community Center that will enable the Legion to provide better support and expanded programs to all those served. The need for these two facilities is great, and the impact will be profound. The American Legion’s fundraiser help make up the costs necessary to fund the project. Arts and Music Festival

Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and the City of Hoboken invite residents to the 25th annual Hoboken Spring Arts and Music Festival on Sunday, May 5. The festival will take place on Washington Street between Observer Highway and 7th Street. Over 300 artists, vendors and more will be featured along with activities for children on 3rd Street including rides, games, craft activities, face painting, and sand art.
