Openaki Road to be closed for paving beginning 05/20 at approximately 9am. 
Beginning at approximately 9:00am on Monday, May 20th, Openaki Road will be closed between the intersections of Mountainside Drive and Casterline Road. The purpose of the road closure is to mill and repave the roadway surface approaching the single lane bridge over the Den Brook.
The road work is expected to begin at approximately 9:00am each day as required, resulting in the complete closure of the roadway in both directions within the work area. Detour signage will be in place to direct both northbound and southbound traffic around the work area utilizing Casterline and Smith Roads, as well as Mount Pleasant Turnpike.
The work is expected to last at least two days. The roadway will be reopened to all traffic each afternoon as soon as that day's work is completed.
