Woman Faces Multiple Charges.

A Cypress woman is facing a variety charges after driving around deputies working a fatality accident in northwest Harris County.

On Thursday May 16, 2019 at 11:55 p.m., Investigators say that Chaundee Nichole Amine (06/30/1992) was operating a BMW 4 door sedan west bound on F.M. 1960 at Mills road.

Vehicular Crimes deputies were investigating an earlier fatality accident involving a motorcyclist and a vehicle.

Amine drove around Sheriff’s Office vehicles with emergency lights activated that were blocking traffic from entering the crime scene.

She continued west on F.M 1960, and drove over the concrete median divider and continued west in the east bound side of traffic.

Patrol deputies with emergency lights and sirens pursued Amine onto Solon road and into a small neighborhood.

She was eventually stopped in the 9100 block of Meadow Vista Boulevard by deputies and taken into custody.

Deputies found Amine’s two small children ages 2 and 5 in the back seat of the vehicle unharmed.

EMS services were contacted to evaluate the children and Amine.
Amine is currently charged with evading in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated with child passenger under 15 (felony), child endangerment.

She was also charged with assault on a public servant, after kicking the DWI technician during the evidentiary blood draw.

The two children were released to Child Protective Services (CPS) after being medically cleared.

Amine is currently awaiting booking in the Joint Processing Center.
