LOCATION: Mission Vista Drive / Pittsburg Avenue

SUSPECT: Ian Asher Soovajian, 36-years-old from Burbank, CA.


On Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at approximately 2:31 p.m., while doing extra patrol, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Multiple Enforcement Team (MET), conducted a routine traffic stop. The driver was identified as Ian Soovajian from the city of Burbank.

During a search of Soovajian’s vehicle, deputies located drugs, weapons, stolen property and items related to making counterfeit U.S. currency. Through investigation it was discovered the vehicle was reported stolen by the San Diego Police Department.

Through further investigation, Soovajian was found to be a convicted felon. He had an arrest warrant for violation of parole and an additional warrant out of Los Angeles County. He was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center and is being held with no bail.
