Coastal Flood Advisory until 10:00AM Thursday

A persistent long fetch of easterly flow will lead to tide levels rising to around 1.0 ft above ground level (2.0 ft above MSL) at times of high time tonight through Thursday morning. This will lead to water approaching or reaching the dunes along area beaches. The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CDT Thursday.

* COASTAL FLOODING...Tide levels around 1 foot above ground level (2 feet above Mean Sea Level) during high tide.

* TIMING...Tonight through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Poor driving conditions are expected as water reaches the dunes, mainly during high tide cycle. Some beach access roads will be impassible. High water levels will also approach low areas along the intracoastal waterways and bays.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COASTAL KLEBERG ... COASTAL REFUGIO ... COASTAL NUECES ... CALHOUN ISLANDS ... ARANSAS ISLANDS ... NUECES ISLANDS ... KLEBERG ISLANDS ... COASTAL CALHOUN ... COASTAL SAN PATRICIO ... COASTAL ARANSAS
