Due to the potential weather threat for this weekend, specifically Saturday 05/18//2019 during City-Wide Clean-up 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., we are considering cancelling Saturday’s city-wide clean-up. According to the National Weather Service, heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 81. South southeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is at 80% presently.

By Friday 05/17/2019 at 3:00 p.m. we will make a determination on whether to cancel the city-wide clean-up. Said notice will be posted through social media, nixle alert system, and city- automated notification system.

If cancelled, the city is looking at July 20^th, 2019 as the next opportunity to have a city-wide clean-up. We will follow up with more specific details at a later date.
