Location of Incident: On Powell St. at the I80 off ramp
Date/Time Occurred: May 14, 2019 8:59 PM
Arrested: Pachecobuenrostro, Edgar 20 year old resident of Oakland
Charges: Carrying a loaded firearm and Carrying a concealable firearm within a vehicle
Narrative: On May 14, 2019 at about 8:59 PM the Emeryville Police Department made a traffic enforcement car stop at 5602 Bay St. During the contact with the driver, Edgar Pachecobuenrostro, the officer smelled an odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the car. The officer conducted a probable cause search of the car. The officer located a burnt marijuana cigarette and an open container of marijuana. Also located was a loaded firearm under the driver's seat. Pachecobuenrostro was placed under arrest for carrying a loaded firearm and carrying a concealable firearm within a vehicle. Pachecobuenrostro was transported to jail for booking.
