Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man and the wounding of two others. The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at approximately 9:21 p.m., near the 1600 blk of Florence Avenue, Los Angeles.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives have learned that deputies from the Century Sheriff’s Station responded to the location regarding a “gunshot victim” call. Upon arrival, deputies located three individuals all suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso.  One of the victims, a male Hispanic adult, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims, also male Hispanic adults, were transported to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.

There is no suspect description is the motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
