California City Police - Officers determine "No credible threat" after weekend post of possible violence at CCHS
California City - On Sunday afternoon, California City Police Department receiving information from parents regarding a possible social media posting of "School Violence" that was to occur at the California City High School Monday morning.
A social media posting was shared on-line about a threat of violence to occur today at CCHS. Detectives have identified the student and are investigating the alleged threat.
At this point of the investigation, it appears that the threat was part of an on-line posting between students who heard of a fist-fight that occurred near the school last Friday afternoon. Fellow students posted statements made from the students involved in the fight.
