* At 408 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Laplace to near South Vacherie, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... New Orleans, Reserve, Chalmette, Metairie, Hahnville, Laplace, East New Orleans, Avondale, Harvey, Jefferson, Gretna, Harahan, Westwego, Lake Catherine, Montz, River Ridge, Ama, Destrehan, St. Rose and Killona.
