Driver Seriously Injured in Motor Vehicle Crash
Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a crash that injured two people, one seriously, in Huntington Station on Saturday.
Aleen Sevadjian was in a 2018 Honda CR-V facing westbound on East Rogues Path waiting to make a left turn onto Lodge Avenue when the vehicle was rear-ended by a 1999 Ford F-550 being driven by Josue Menjivacruz at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Menjivacruz, 21, of Glen Cove, was taken via Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Sevadjian, 32, of Wantagh, was taken via ambulance to Huntington Hospital with minor injuries.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
