On the evening of May 9th, an alert citizen called our dispatch center to report a bicycle theft that had just occurred in front of Lucky’s in the El Cerrito Plaza. The mindful citizen watched a man that was already riding a bicycle take another bicycle from in front of the store. Officers quickly responded to the area to investigate the possible theft and located the man riding away with both bikes. At that time, officers were unable to locate the owner of the possibly stolen bicycle. The bicycle was collected by officers and we want to return it to its rightful owner. If your bicycle was stolen from in front of Lucky’s in the El Cerrito Plaza on May 9th, please contact Detective Ware at [email protected]. Be prepared to provide the make, model, and color of the bicycle.
