5/06 – 3:21 p.m. – Police were advised via an Illinois State Police broadcast of a possible impaired driver, that had pulled onto the parking lot of the Circle K, on West Washington Street. Officers made contact with the vehicle and driver. Upon investigating, suspected illegal drugs were found in the vehicle and a suspect was taken into custody. On the 8th the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office charged the suspect, Shiela M. Lumley age 47 of Cahokia, with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (fentanyl); a Class 4 Criminal Felony, Category B Offense. Her bond was set at $10,000. The St. Clair County Drug Tactical Unit assisted with the investigation in this case.
