A single vehicle fatal traffic collision occurred on May 7th at Desert Knoll Drive and 7th Street

LOCATION: Desert Knoll Dr / 7th St, Victorville
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at approximately 8:10pm, deputies from the Victorville Police Department, and rescue personnel from the Victorville City Fire Department and American Medical Response, responded to a single vehicle traffic collision near the intersection of Desert Knoll Dr and 7th Street in Victorville.
Upon arrival, Deputies determined that a black Honda Accord was driving through the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds parking lot and collided with a training tower. The driver of the Honda was later pronounced deceased an area hospital.
Deputies are investigating the cause of the collision. Anyone with information or anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Deputy A.
