Investigators with the Jackson Police Department have been investigating the theft of a wallet from 1727 S. Highland Avenue, Food Giant, and needed assistance identifying a person of interest.
On May 2nd, officers with the Jackson Police Department took a report referencing the theft of a wallet. According to the victim, the wallet was taken after it was left on the bench outside the business. Surveillance video captures an older black female wearing a straw hat, pink or red striped sleeveless shirt, and blue jeans pick up the wallet. This female was possibly operating a newer model red SUV or mini van.
