Residents should be advised that NJDOT has begun work on simultaneous projects along Route 57 east and west of Route 31 at this time and that work will continue on and off through summer 2019.  East of Route 31 to the easterly Borough border and beyond, nighttime resurfacing operations have begun and will continue west toward the easterly side of Route 31 with alternating lane closures. 

West of Route 31 to the westerly Borough border, daytime construction crews have begun curb cut upgrades to sidewalk corners for the purposes of ADA compliance as well as other curb and sidewalk and traffic signal work as deemed necessary by NJDOT work plans.  Sidewalk and traffic signal work will only require shoulder closures.  Further, west of Route 31, resurfacing operations are expected to reach the Borough in late June/early July with nighttime alternating lane closures.  Residents should be aware of work zones and use caution while walking or driving through.
