Deputy Steven McPeters of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Clinton Paul Boylen, 44, address listed as Edelweiss Drive in Marion, with assault with a deadly weapon.
                At 9:39 p.m. on Friday, May 3, Deputy Robert Watson responded to Samir’s, on U.S. 221 North, in reference to a person there that had been stabbed.
                The victim, 42-year-old Lisa Boylen, address listed as Edelweiss Drive, told deputies that her husband became enraged with her while they were at a nearby campground and stabbed her in the left arm.
                While Watson was speaking with the victim, McPeters was on his way to Samir’s when he passed the suspect’s vehicle on U.S. 221 North. He stopped the Ford Mustang and took Clinton Boylen into custody.
                Lisa Boylen was taken to Mission Hospital McDowell for treatment of her injuries.
