Two suspects are arrested for Attempted Murder

SUSPECTS: Ricardo Sandoval, 19-year old Hesperia resident
Rafael Sandoval, 24-year old Hesperia resident
VICTIM: 30-year old male
SUMMARY:
On May 5, 2019, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to an assault with a weapon call, in the 15000 block of Arlette Drive.
The 30-year old male victim was shot once in the abdomen and once in the foot when the suspects drove by the residence and fired multiple rounds from a handgun. The victim was flown to a nearby trauma center for treatment and was listed in stable condition. The suspects, later identified as Ricardo Sandoval and Rafael Sandoval, were known to the victim. The shooting is believed to be related to a recent dispute over the victim’s dogs.
Both suspects were located at their home in the 8400 block of 7th Avenue in Hesperia, shortly after the shooting. They were arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for attempted murder. They are scheduled to appear in Victorville Superior Court on May 7, 2019.
