The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a
* Flood Warning for... Northwestern Berkeley County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...
* Until 200 AM EDT Monday.
* At 754 PM EDT, a reporting gauge near Jones Springs indicates flooding is likely along Back Creek this evening. At a stream level of 11 feet, Dry Run Road will begin to flood, and water approaches Daisy Lane.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hedgesville, Jones Springs, Tomahawk, Glengary, Johnsontown and Shanghai.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BERKELEY, WV
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
