Good Afternoon, Simonton Residents!
As most of you know, the Brazos river will be rising to Minor Flood Stage later this week. The City is continuing to monitor the rain forecast for the coming week. With elevated river levels and saturated soils, additional rainfall will potentially keep us elevated for the next couple of weeks. Looks like we will have rain back in the area Monday and into Tuesday.
The Emergency Operations team is actively watching the situation and will keep residents updated as needed.
