NARRATIVE:
- On May 5, 2019, at approximately 12:25 A.M. the Major Crimes Task Force, partnered with the California Highway Patrol, was in the area of Garey Avenue and Twelfth Street conducting high visibility gang enforcement patrols. Officers saturated a known gang hangout. Immediately several people fled the location in an obvious attempt to avoid officers. While attempting to leave the location, Suspect Hernandez discarded a firearm he was carrying. The firearm was recovered and determined to be stolen. Suspect Hernandez was apprehended and arrested for the listed charges.
