Synopsis: An 88 year old male driving a 2008 Toyota, stopped at the stop sign at 4000 Tambor Rd. A 33 year old female was driving westbound on 11100 Tierrasanta Blvd. with her 22 month old son in the back seat. After stopping at the stop sign the male proceeded into the intersection and was struck by the female driver. The male was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Alcohol is not a factor. SDPD Traffic Unit responded and will be handling.
