The Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership announces
May 2019 Driving Under the Influence Indiana
(Indianapolis, Ind.) --- Local law enforcement agencies, in cooperation with the Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership, will conduct DUI checkpoints during May 2019. The project Driving Under the Influence Indiana is made possible through a grant received from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and is a project aimed at reducing impaired driving-related motorcycle and automobile crashes.
DUI sobriety checkpoints will be conducted in Marion County on:
Sunday May 5 beginning at 3:00 pm
Saturday May 11 beginning at 6:00 pm
Friday May 17 beginning at 5:00 pm
The Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership involves the cooperation of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Indiana State Police, Speedway, Cumberland, Lawrence, Beech Grove, Airport, and IUPUI police departments.
