A suspect attempted to sell a stolen cargo trailer on the internet and was arrested for possession of stolen property

INCIDENT: POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
LOCATION: 4800 block of Dos Palmas, Phelan
SUSPECT: Justin Antwan Jackson, 28 years-old, of Phelan
SUMMARY:
Deputy D. Peterson of the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, Phelan Sub-Station, received anonymous information that the suspect, Justin Antwan Jackson, was attempting to sell a stolen cargo trailer on the internet.
On Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at 7:00am, Deputy Peterson, with the assistance of deputies from the Victor Valley Station, went to Jackson’s residence in the 4800 block of Dos Palmas in Phelan. Deputies could see the stolen cargo trailer in plain view sitting in the yard of the residence.
Deputies contacted Jackson at his residence and he was arrested without incident. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center where he was later released on bail. Jackson is due to appear in court on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 8:00 am.
