Flash Flood Watch until 07:00PM Thursday
The National Weather Service in Lincoln has expanded the
* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of central Illinois, east central Illinois, southeast Illinois, and west central Illinois, including the following areas, in central Illinois, Marshall, Peoria, and Stark. In east central Illinois, Clark, Edgar, and Vermilion. In southeast Illinois, Crawford, Lawrence, and Richland. In west central Illinois, Fulton, Knox, and Schuyler.
* Through Thursday evening
* Additional rainfall tonight through Thursday will once again cause flooding issues around the Midwest. Heavy rainfall will spread across the region tonight from northwest to southeast, as a boundary continues to linger throughout central Illinois.
* Already saturated soils will once again allow for rapid development of Flash Flooding across the region. Flash Flooding will be possible again tonight through Thursday night, as up to an additional inch of rain will be possible.
* AFFECTED AREAS: CLARK ... PEORIA ... RICHLAND ... MARSHALL ... VERMILION ... CRAWFORD ... FULTON ... LAWRENCE ... STARK ... KNOX ... SCHUYLER ... EDGAR
