Janesville Police Department is having its 17th Annual Bike Rodeo on Sat June 1st, 2019 at Wilson Elementary School from 10-12pm. Kids who come will be able to test their bike riding skills in an obstacle course, meet police officers, eat FREE food, meet other kids, talk with vendors in our community, and have chance to win a brand new bike. Last year nearly 200 kids left with a brand new bike. This event is FREE and open to any families who can make it. We always get asked " How can I support this great event?" Well, here is how! Bring as many kids as possible to this event. JPD is accepting new bike donations. You can bring a new bike to JPD and drop it off any time from now until the event. Monetary donations can be made out to JPD and put "BIKE RODEO" in the message line. All donations go directly to the kids who come in the form of bikes, helmets, or other safety equipment.
