About 10:30 this morning, officers responded to the 1200 block of Minerva Street in San Leandro to investigate the report of a missing person.  Minerva Street is located in a residential area north of Davis Street between San Leandro Boulevard and I880.

Burnis Johnson (59 years old) was last seen about 9:00 am when his caregiver left the home and he was discovered missing upon their return a short time later.  Johnson is deaf and recently blind.  He left the house without his cane, he has no money, no cell phone and no means to get around.
