Water Main Breakage Updates: Buena Vista /Huntington Drive and Royal Oaks Drive/Vinyard 
Good Morning Duarte Community:
The City has experienced two water main breakage issues over the weekend. One was at Royal Oaks Drive and Vinyard and the other was at Buena Vista and Huntington Drive.
The issue at Royal Oaks Drive and Vinyard was completely fixed and water restored as of Friday night April 26. Cal Am first started attempting to fix the issue on Thursday, April 25, however additional parts. were needed. As of now, there are no customers without water in the area including Royal Oaks school. Cal Am will continue to have repair crews on site throughout the day.
In terms of the nw corner of Huntington Drive and Buena Vista issue, Cal Am has worked throughout the night to fix this large water main. The good news is water has now been restored to all affected customers and should be up to full pressure within the next two to four hours. Additionally, the work is primarily being done on the Buena Vista side to minimize any traffic disruptions along Huntington Drive. Crews too will be on site off and on during the day.
