Synopsis: A 64 year old male victim was at Landis Park. He was putting a bicycle in the back of his 2000 Volkswagen. A black male suspect approached the victim from behind and demanded the victim's car keys. The victim refused to give the suspect his keys and they started fighting. During the fight the victim fell and the suspect took the keys from the victim. The suspect got in the driver's seat and tried to drive away. The victim got into the car and they struggled. The victim fell out of the car and the suspect drove away. The victim was transported to the hospital with several non life threatening injuries. The suspect was described as a black male with a large build and dark hoodie. The vehicle was located at 4400 Wightman St. The suspect is still outstanding. San Diego Police Robbery Detectives are investigating.
