Boil Order Lifted

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 the Village of Northbrook experienced a loss of pressure within its water distribution system. This loss of pressure was due to the Illinois Department of Transportation’s contractor performing work at Dundee Road and Lee Road and directionally boring through a 24-inch diameter water main.

As a result, a precautionary boil order was issued until the Village could verify it’s water quality through the testing of samples. At this time, all of the Village’s water samples have passed testing and the boil order is lifted. Residents and businesses may resume normal use of their water systems.
