Los Angeles County Superhero Run Walk, Health & Safety Expo

**Some of the Greatest Superhero’s Fighting Crime, Serving our Community & Ensuring that Public Safety is a Priority!**
 
(San Dimas, CA) – Members of the public are invited to attend Los Angeles County Superhero Run Walk Health & Safety Expo on Saturday, April 27 at Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas. The Superhero (Survive and Thrive) run and walk helps increase public awareness of victims’ rights and needs, while providing resources, support and information to empower crime victims to survive and thrive.

WHAT:           Crime Survivors (Crime Survivors Resource Center) Southern California’s leading Crime Victim’s support and education organization, will be hosting its Annual Superhero Run Walk - Health & Safety Expo in partnership with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Hundreds of runners and walkers are expected from survivors and supportive citizens to members of law enforcement and other civic agencies and close to one hundred event and vendor booth sponsors are expected to participate this year. This event promises to be a day of fun, entertainment, food and drinks, free pancake breakfast, learning and even healing for some. A survivor’s dove release will take place with victims, survivors and families. Crime Survivors welcomes sponsors, vendors, volunteers, run/walkers and all are welcome to attend.

Mission: To provide hope and healing to victims and survivors of crime through advocacy and the support of resources, information, and empowerment from the critical time after a crime occurs through the challenges and successes of surviving and thriving.

2. We believe that the best way to help others with hope and healing is to work in partnership with our community, law enforcement, elected leaders, and members of the media.

4. We believe that every broken heart, every hurt, every wound can be healed with love and a strong community of support.
