(Valley Springs, CA) On April 23rd 2019 the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant for illegal marijuana cultivation at a residence in the 2000 block of Berkesey Dr., Valley Springs. During the service of the search warrant an indoor marijuana operation was located. Investigators discovered the interior of the residence had been converted into several individual growing rooms. A total of 401 marijuana plants and 13 pounds of processed marijuana were seized.
County Code Enforcement responded for multiple code violations including unpermitted/hazardous electrical work and mold. No suspects were found at the location.
