The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a RED FLAG WARNING, which is in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Much of northern lower Michigan
* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the middle to upper 70s.
* WIND...Increasingly gusty south winds, at times gusting over 20 mph this afternoon.
* HUMIDITY...20 to 30 percent most areas. Lowest humidity inland, away from the coastlines.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
